If you are into convenience, Netflix is a must have DVD movie subscription. My family has been active users of this service for six months and have been very satisfied. Regardless what type of movie you are looking for, children, chick flick, action, vintage, horror, this company has your covered.
The first step to subscribe is to go on-line to www.netflix.com. Once there you can choose a delivery system that works best for you. The plans are as follows...
1 DVD at-a-time limited 2 per month $4.99 per month
1 DVD at-a-time unlimited $9.99 per month
2 DVDs at-a-time unlimited $13.99 per month
3 DVDs at-a-time unlimited $17.99 per month
4 DVDs at-a-time unlimited $23.99 per month
The great part is that there are no late fees! Thats what got me started. We always had late fees at every movie store in town and they just added up. Soon I felt like I couldnt show my face in any of them again.
As soon as you are finished with a movie, simply stick it in the pre-paid envelope and it mails to the nearest Netflix location next day. When Netflix receives the DVD they will shoot you an e-mail to the address you provided upon registration that says your movie has been received, the next day they will shoot you another e-mail that says your next DVD has been sent. The movie title is specified so you know exactly what you will be receiving the next day.
How do you choose what movies you want and in which order? Thats easy. Once again, log on to netflix.com with your user name and password. Next click the tab at the top that says Browse. From there you can select from a list of categories. Once you have found a movie that interests you click add below the movie picture. This will add the movie to your Queue.
After you have selected a few movies now click the Queue tab and this will take you to a list of movies you have selected. Now you can click and drag each movie to the order in which you want to receive them.
With over 80,000 DVD to choose from, there is something for everyone in you family.
I dont like waiting those two days for my next movie. If we had the two movies at a time plan it wouldnt be that bad. With only one movie at a time though, we have to time it right with the mail to get a movie for the weekend.
