When I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements, the JR Music website said there was a $30 rebate coupon from Adobe in addition to the excellent price they were offering for the software. When I received my order, there was NO coupon. I called the JR Music Customer Service number and was told they could not help me and that I would have to call Adobe directly. I called Adobe and explained the situation of the missing rebate coupon. A case number was assigned and I was told to expect the coupon in the mail in a week. One week later, the Adobe Customer Service representative called me back to say the claim had been sent back for further information because Adobe claimed that the rebate offer had expired January 1, 2007. The Representative and I pulled up the JR Music website so she could make a copy of the rebate information to be sent back for further review at Adobe. After 2 weeks and the two phone calls there is still no resolution to the possible missing rebate coupon. Now I don't know whom to believe. Is Adobe correct that the rebate expired or did JR Music mislead its customers into believing that the rebate was legitimate. If it's legitimate, why wasn't it included with the order that I purchased.
The order process was simple. The resolution for obtaining the rebate is not yet resolved. I would hesitate to purchase another product from JR Music under similar circumstances because I don't know whether I can believe their claims.
