Whooops! You are so right about "It's a mad, mad, mad, World!" It is hilarious rollercoaster of laughs, and I enjoyed every minute of it! That was not just an omission of a great one, but a glaring one, as if I had remembered I would have ranked it #2 behind "What's up, Doc?" Thanks for pointing this one out! :-)

You would probably like "It's a mad, mad, mad, World" a 3 hour non-stop chase sequence with some of the funniest bits ever.

I did like the "Bulitt" chase, but I found it to be just a little repetitive (not too much, though), and one or two of the very same parked cars just kept appearing, which cost it points on my scale. Still, it is an early one and definitely a classic, and indeed, from the same mold as "French Connection." The others you mentioned are also certainly of interest.

You definitely have a pretty oddball list of chases here though...

Considering the great assortment of fine reviewers here at Epinions, I simply try to write something a bit out of the ordinary.

Thanks for your comment! :-)

If you like the chase scene in The French Connection then you would probably like the one in Bullitt as well. Not quite as unconventional as that one but it is in the same general time frame and style.

Personally I have gotten a kick out of the chase scenes in the Mad Max films. They are generally pretty crazy ones (at least the ones in the last two films are) and pretty nasty ones...

You definitely have a pretty oddball list of chases here though...
