| krazzyj's Full Review: DocuPrint M750 Printer |
This printer is a good home, light use choice. I would NOT buy this for your office. This printer has a few good qualities, namely the very sturdy construction, lacking in very high priced epsons and cannons out there today. But the quality of prints still leaves much desired. If you only print reports etc. great, NO PHOTO printing as this printer has a visable banding effect and poor-good color calibration, also very slow at high res. This printer is also a pain to setup. If you have a parrallel cable use it. It'll save you alot of heart ache and time. The USB setup not only requires you to go multiple directories into the cdrom, it also likes to be setup a few times before you get the printer to even print (I've setup hundreds of printers at my office, and Iam a certified tech, it just should work, especially for a home unit) (there is already a patch to fix time out errors). This printer software needs to be re-engineered. Aside from this install issue, This printer is great.
