My daughter purchased a new Alltel phone plan along with a razor cell phone in April of 2007. The phone comes with a one year warranty and she also bought a extended warranty for around seven dollars a month. This phone and service was purchased in Ohio and she moved to Myrtle Beach early summer. Alltel insurance warranty quote below:
"Accidents happen, even when it comes to your wireless phone. That's why Alltel offers insurance for your wireless phone. ProductGuard Plus gives you total handset protection if your phone is not working for any reason - loss, theft, damage, malfunction and mechanical or electrical failure outside the manufacturer's warranty."
Early July 07 the phone charger broke. I told my daughter to take it to the Myrtle Beach Alltel store and I was sure they would just give her a new one. To my amazement, one of the women at the store refused to replace the damaged phone charger. She told my 19 year old daughter she would have to purchase a new charger for thirty dollars. My daughter called me totally upset so I called the Alltel store. The woman still refused to replace the phone charger even though we had every available warranty. I have never experienced a more rude person in my life. I have to assume anyone purchasing a phone or anything from this location would experience the same type of service as we did. I highly recommend not buying anything from this Alltel store.
