This is my entry into Birdfeather's Epinions....Then and Now..and Where are You Going?W/O. 1. How long have you been a member of Epinions? Since Jan 17 '00 2. Which member invited you to join or did you stumble upon the site? I don’t remember. 3. Is there anything you miss about Epinions that has changed and/or no longer in force? Can’t think of anything. 4. Who are your Top 3 Epinion members and why? That’s not fair. There are many. Besides that, I keep finding new ones that might bump some of my favorites off the list. So, this list may be different on any given day. So, ok, I’ll pick three if I have to. No, I can’t. Oh, heck, okay: a) HawgWyld Ethan is just an all around good writer. I like his writing style, which is so often amusing, and the fact that he writes reviews about such a wide variety of topics. He loses me on anything game-wise, but there’s so much more to read. b) KMINER Kimm seems unafraid of any topic and when she writes a review, you can bet she has all the information and presents in an easy to read, honest and complete manner. She takes her reviews very seriously. c) I’m sorry but there just has to be more than one in this spot: redlass Bridgette is an awesome book review writer who writes about things I might like to read. logimom Donna writes very thorough and complete reviews and usually with big entertainment value. millinocket The lady to read for insightful movie reviews. drdevience For a good time, nice read and good information. I feel bad stopping there. There really are a lot of excellent writers here. 5. What is your favorite thing about Epinions? I like learning constantly. Not only about products but also about writing. I always wanted to be a writer but never felt the luxury of thinking I could take the time to do it. Epinions has given me a jump-start. I also like that the community, in general, are anxious to be helpful. I never thought you could develop friendships over the internet, but I feel like I have here. 6. What are your goals for the next year here at Epinions? I can’t say that I’ve ever actually had any goals at Epinions. It’s a whole new world to me everyday. I want to keep writing and learning. I was “floored” to receive a hat and that would be nice to have happen again and more. I’m having fun and fortunately did not expect it to be a paying job. I wish it were, though. 7. If you could change one thing about Epinions, what would it be? I would like to get paid for my reviews if they’re good enough to use over the internet. 8. What do you think of the Epinion dolls? Cute or Uglee?? They’re cute and I have four new kids, so I’m a proud Mama. 9. What is your favorite pastime at Epinions...Reading or Writing? Yes 10. What is your favorite Write-Off and who was it hosted by?? You mean besides this one? A Poetry Exercise and Write Off Challenge!
