Incredible list! (Reply to this comment)

I am really impressed with this fantastic list. My only additions would be jazz singers Joe Williams and Mark Murphey (the latter singer is someone I just discovered). I was lucky enough to see both Frank and Mel in person. Thanks for all the work it took to put this wonderful list together.

You've got some real oldies on this list!
For dads of *MY* generation, I think you'd want "gentlemen" like Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and, oh what the hell, another Bruce Springsteen (a dad can *never* hear too much Springsteen, ya know!)
Have fun!

Hey, Bobby Darin, if I'm not mistaken he does that "Rain on My Parade" song in American Beauty which I ended up loving that song somehow... Elton John is a true wizard himself, although I do find some of the more recent stuff fairly decent. Hard to beat "Honky Cat" though, that was one bizarre, but extremely cool, song.
See ya

...And what a cool idea. I wish I'd thought of it.
