Pros:Great functionality at a great price; The cushioning is especially good.
Cons:They're being closed out so when they're gone - they're GONE!
The Bottom Line: These are great gloves. Buy them while you can.

Many thanks to the category lead, Openroad, for adding this product to the database.

I enjoy road biking, rides of 10 to 20+ miles, Good gloves are necessary, as they provide a grip on the handlebars and shock absorption, too. Lately I’ve been using gel gloves more often as the shock absorption is better.

I saw the Adidas RSP gloves at performancebike.com at a half price closeout for $14.99 I was immediately impressed by the features which were billed on the web site as::
*Synthetic leather palm with anatomic cushioning relieves pressure and gives you the right amount of support for all-around performance
*Elasticized upper enhances ventilation
*Terry wipe on the thumb soaks up excess sweat from your forehead
*Streamlined internal hook and loop closure and finger tabs make these gloves a cinch to take on and off
*Three stripe reflective accents add visibility

They come in black or gray and in XS,S, M, l, XL I ordered the black XL. For the Nashbar and Performance house brand gloves, the L is snug and the XL slightly loose. I use Nashbar XL gloves over liner gloves in fall, winter and early spring. The Adidas XL fit great without being loose or too tight. So, I think the sizes on the gloves might run slightly small.

The cushioning is the big feature for me. It’s got slanting ridges all across the palm and knuckles. The material is very firm. It does give a little, but immediately resumes it’s shape. It’s actually better than gel because gel compresses more. I’ve used the gloves on several rides and have had no problems with hand numbness, which often happens for me at the end of rides, even with gel gloves.

The nylon back is light and breathes and the modest stretchiness is very comfortable. The terry section is small but functional. The closure is Velcro and is also functional. I don’t know about the hook and eye but the gloves are easy to get on and off.

At $14.99 these are an unusual bargain. They are available at Performanceboike.com but nowhere out. At this writing, all colors and sizes are available, except for black L. I liked the first pair of gloves so much so that I ordered two more.

I recommend these gloves highly for road bicyclists. They are now my favorite summer glove.

Thanks for reading. God bless!
