Around June, I was looking through one of my mom's Star magazine and wondering why in the world does she read this? This is junk! Well I found a very small article on a girl name Chandra Levy that was missing. I started reading it, and became very interested. Little did I know that reading that article would change my whole summer. I work on the computer a lot so I decided to search for Chandra on the web. Well I found the whole story very interesting, and obviousely Star did too. I started looking on all the news websites to get updates. I also kept reading Star every week. To my surprise everything Star would publish about the case, came out in the news a little later. I was thinking "Gee, maybe this magazine does have some truth". Since then I have started buying the magazine. Some of the stories are a little hard to believe, but if you read them, a majority of them do end up being true. I know that it is "gossip", but I think most of this world feeds off of this type of stuff. I mean the inside scoops on the celebrities? Don't you think that it is interesting to know the real scoop on them? I do. The magazine has been ranked The #1 Celebrity News Magazine. And now I see why. However I do believe that since they pay for stories from insiders, they can sometime be stretched. However for the most part I find everything factual. I really love it when they show pictures of celebrities on the flip side. I do not consider this magazine in the same catagory as "tabloids" for some reason. I consider it more like People. Just with a bad rap!
