I'm just getting interested in ice hockey in my late 30's and your articles are just what I needed. I'm considering playing goal and I feel I can realistically make the attempt after reading them. I have no illusions about what's ahead but everyone I've spoken to has given me great encouragement. Hockey players have big hearts!

Cheers

Hey Lisa,
Thanks for the comment. One advantage that dancers probably have is that they know exactly what they are going to do before they perform. That's gotta make stretching a little easier than for a goalie who sometimes doesn't even know what he just did. I have a muscle there?! Owch!

You mention the importance of a stretching regime, how true that is - even with softball and dance.

Great attention to detail!

just a note - I tried to get to the former article, but it says it can't be found. You might want to check the link...

As for your review - see my comment on your recent goalie pants review. I'm jonesing to play a little street!

Bowie,
You say that now, but you never know when a goaltending emergency might occur and you will have to jump in and save the day. Boy won't you be glad you read this then!

Thanks for r/r and comment.

...but some of this stuff is really helpful, should never become one day. It was cute, too.
