A seriously good company despite the ridiculous name

The Bottom Line If you find a product advertised for a great price at bzboyz.com don't hesitate to order from them.

Last November, I decided to build myself what was then an ubercomputer. Using Priceline.com, I ordered all of the components from different online stores. I ordered the most important parts of the computer from Bzboyz.com- the motherboard (Asus A7V) & processor (Athlon 1 Ghz). The price was right, the goods were shipped within a couple days, and they arrived when I had expected. I got exactly what had been advertised. There was no messing around with confirming the order over the phone (see my review of turboprice.com) or any mandatory package deal. Totally easy and straightforward- the way it should be.
I was quite satisfied with the company then, but what happened 7 months later proves that this is a top-notch business.
Ever since I first put the computer together, I had major stability problems. I tried everything. I discovered a messageboard specifically dedicated to troubleshooting the A7V motherboard, so for a long time I was convinced this was somehow at fault. Based on the suggestions of friends who were computer science majors, I thought that there were hardware conflicts, and experimented with different video & sound cards, memory, etc. etc.. I finally figured out that the problem was heat related, and spent large amounts of money trying to keep everything cool enough to be stable. I ended up just strapping a huge fan on the side of my open case and leaving it like that for the remainder of the school year. Although this worked, it was not the way I wanted to deal with this problem with my new computer. So, this summer, I began to troubleshoot more in order to find out whether the CPU or the motherboard was the culprit. I finally decided that it was probably the processor, and put in a Duron 900 mhz processor to verify this. Sure enough, all the problems that had been driving me batty for the past several months suddenly disappeared, and I had a quality machine.
I decided to try and get my original processor replaced. I knew it was highly unlikely, given the fact that over 6 months had passed since I purchased it, and I had no way of proving that it was defective rather than damaged from misuse. The refund/return policy of Bzboyz is clearly explained on their website, and I had the option to request an RMA number to send my CPU in for them to test (this is only necessary because of the long period of time that had passed since I had received my products). I wrote them an email explaining how I had had problems from day one, but had not realized the CPU was at fault until now. They responded promptly with an RMA number, and personally responded to all of my correspondence after that. They kept me updated on the status of my return, letting me know when they received the shipment from me, when they had tested it, etc.. It is their policy to test products and if found defective to send them to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
I was amazed at how soon I received my replacement, given the fact that bzboyz had to test my CPU, then send it to AMD (who was under no obligation to do anything and typically has a slow response time to such things) for repair or replacement, then receive the replacement from AMD and send it back to me. I had to pay the shipping charges (lucky for me it was the tiny cpu that was at fault and not a larger component), which was totally fair, since they really were doing me a favor, and I got my new processor within a few weeks.
Bzboyz really went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of, even seven months after I had ordered my product. This is truly amazing, since I usually can't get so much as a response from other online companies after I've placed my order! If the opportunity arises again, I will not hesitate to order from Bzboyz, and I would recommend buying from them because of their efficiency in expediting orders and their post-purchase customer support.
