Thank your father for what they went through all those years ago - they really DID understand.

I'd like to think I turned out all right - I think most of what's left to be wrong is fixable, though. Just kidding. I'm sure that your son will grow up just fine, although it will be trying at times.

It's good to know you still turned out all right! My son sounds a bit like you. He is only 10 now, but I wonder what he will be like as a teenager!

I did include a modified version (the list, not the whole review) in his father's day card. He actually seemed touched, which isn't usual for my father. He even took the card with him - the par for the course is to read it and then 'forget' it.

.......how smart our parents become we grow up!

If your father is living I would say make a copy of this and send it to him......he would really appreciate hearing these words. :)

......Make it a great day.......kath

Thanks for the comment. Growing up can be hard to do, but I think I've managed it at this point. =-)

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I have a good kid, too - I can only imagine what it would be like with a bad kid to deal with.

I remember those moments, during teenhood when I cursed my Father and maintained lack of understanding for his actions/reactions. Yet as I entered adulthood (and especially after becoming a parent) I began understanding most of his actions/reactions.

Nice editorial. Thanks for sharing!

This free parenting stuff, I am familiar. My two nephews started living with us since one year. One is nearly 14 and the other is nearly 18, that is how they tell their age. I must say I am blessed with two very balanced kids, still I too had my moments.

This review is wonderful.
