The Aquabats returned to Boston and gave an energetic and extremely F-U-N performance.

I'm sorry, but Lederhosen Lucille is a revelation, an inspiration, a phenomenon. I have to defend her greatness.

Honey! You said that the band you were there to see reminded you that music should ("at least sometimes") be fun. I wish they'd OPENED for Lucille, so you could've been privy to that information earlier in the night, and thus have caught some very good songs, musicianship, and humour! You missed out, dude!

But I guess yer cute anyways...

Really, did you not hear how good and catchy and melodically deep her music is?

Awesome that you had a great time at the show. Too bad for you east coasters with the lack of shows. However, hearing you describe lots of people seeing them for the first time and the different stuff that's become their routine, it's probably better when you see them less.

Oh, and by the way, I was 'fortunate' enough to see them play Todd-1 at their DVD release show in November. Everyone was confused, including myself. How that made it to the EP (and "Mechanical Ape," which they played live a bit, never did) is beyond me.

Thanks for the cool review of the show.
