Wirefly may have good prices, and certainly they ship on time. Where wirefly falls down is handling their complex "rebate" deals.
I bought 2 Motorola phones, with a promised $140 back. Little did I know the complexity of the deal. The fine print was very explicit about a number of days - from purchas, from bills, etc. It was complex enough I had to enter it into Excel to figure out when I needed to submit the forms.
I submitted the forms (2, one for each phone) in separate envelopes, as required, with the required documentation. I kept copies of them, just in case.
After the 12 weeks or so delay, nothing. So I contacted them, and they told me that the check would be coming in 8 more weeks. I suspect if I had not called, I would never have seen a check.
The check finally did arrive - but it was for only 1 phone. I contacted them again. They informed me it was "too late" to file, that they had "no record" of my filing. I convinced them that I had, and they told me to submit the copies with the statement "New Submission" on the top (I later learned that this guaranteed that I would not meet the time requirements). Naturally, nothing happened. So, I called again. This is when I was informed that the new submission did not meet the time requirements, and thus, I could not receive the rebate.
I had a long and "hot" conversation with the representative. They finally promised to send a check.
Naturally, it never arrived.
So, beware of any rebate offer from this company. Their intention is that you never get it. And they will lie to you to get them off their backs.
