Kohls online, easy and quick!

A few months ago we finally got a Kohls nearby. Well, close enough to shop at anyway but I have been shopping at Kohls online store for a long time.
FINDING WHAT YOU NEED
Kohls is a wonderful department chain which sells clothes, toys and items for the homes. The online store offers 11 main categories which follow you around as you shop, making it easy to go from area to area.

• Men's/Young Men's
• Kids'
• Special Sizes
• Shoes
• Kitchen & Dinning
• Home Store
• Jewelry
• Beauty
• Clearance
Each time you choose a category, you will then be given a choice of many sub-categories in a box on the left side of the page, to help narrow your search. For example, if you choose kids you will get 23 options that range from Best Sellers to Swim Shop to Baby Gear to Toys.
They also have a Search option that works by keyword and item number.
SHOPPING
When you find an item you are interested in you click on the products name or picture to get more information. You can get a better look by clicking on the larger image button as well as a very detailed look by using their zoom feature I like the way the zoom allows you to get a VERY close, enough to see the detail. I used it when picking out a couple of newborn dresses, letting me see the delicate lace and embroidery.
To purchase an item, you put in the size, the number of the item you want to buy, to whom you want it sent and then click on the ADD TO BAG button. When you add items to your cart it adds in the shipping cost as well as a 6% (an estimated tax based on a national average) which updates with each item added. You can then continue shopping or head to checkout.
Once you are ready to checkout you need to give all the regular billing and mailing information.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Your total shipping charges are based on the shipping method selected and the number of items purchased. There is a base fee for the first item purchased, and an item fee for every additional product:
Standard (7-10 days)
First Item is $6.95
Each Additional Item is $1.50
Priority Air (1-2 days)
First Item is $15.00
Each Additional Item is $3.00
These are the prices for the 48 connected States - they do ship to Alaska and Hawaii but for a higher cost.
Most of the time, Kohls has some type of shipping discount going on such as FREE shipping on orders over $75 or a .99 shipping cost per item. These are not exceptional deals but they do at least give some type of a discount. They also have a lot of those Buy $50 worth and get a $10 certificate for later shopping deals as well as coupon codes. If you can find the item on sale, get a deal on shipping and use a coupon, you can come away with a nice deal.
I have always used the standard shipping and have received my items within 12 days of ordering. Returns can be mailed back or returned to a local Kohl’s store.

I like Kohls online store - the store is easy to navigate, they have a lot of sales, accept coupon codes and have on-time delivery. I do really like Kolhs baby clothes, especially the sweet little dresses and outfits - I often pick them up for baby gifts. My only complaint would be that they sometimes have a shortage of sizes - for example, Converse shoes. There were two kinds my child wanted and one of them only had four sizes available and the other one! These weren't in the regular shoe section, not the clearance area so it is odd there are so few sizes on hand. I am giving them 4 stars.
