Thank you very much, Erica. It really did happen the way I told it. Not sure if I have ever had another experience though. I appreciate your comment.

Goosebumps are a good sign (Reply to this comment)
by sojournseeker
I loved your story but i believe its not just a story but a truth in revelation of some unexplained phenomena that needs consideration of the fullest. You seem to posess a magnetic attractant to spirits that have crossed over just by the way you keep insisting it scared you. The goosebumps are a very good indication something 'energy-based' was predominantly mystifying you. This was great and i enjoy your sincerity pouring through the words you carefully selected to tell us about the unexplained, explained . . .
sharing the light,
Miss Erica Hidvegi

When I lost my late (Reply to this comment)
by remnjava
husband after 3 too-short years of marriage, I used to feel his presence in the hallway that preceeded the bedroom. I slept on the couch for 5 months after his death.
Sadly, I never felt anything supernatural when eiher my father or mother passed.

I had goosebumps... (Reply to this comment)
by toospoiled
reading this!
How scary! Someone grabbing your leg - that would have been a little too much for me! I'd have been out the door right then!
I have had that breeze going by me feeling before and it is so creepy!
Thanks for the scare!
And, I was thinking the same thing when I read that Granny had lived in that apartment for 40 years - my gosh, how much rent would that be?
Hugs,
Karen

Thanks Barbara! It was really scary to feel like someone or something was grabbing your leg. At first I thought I was dreaming, like I said, but it just felt too real. If I had looked at my leg, I wonder if I would have seen finger marks...?

Hi there Gael (Reply to this comment)

I agree with you about the communication. I think maybe that is your Granny's way of letting you know that she is still with you. Not trying to scare you, just let you know that she is still there.
I've had a couple of experiences that I believe comes from my loved ones that have passed, but they were peaceful, not scary. It is rather weird when something happens.

...communicate with us in one way or another from beyond the grave. Maybe this was Granny's way of doing so.

My Own Goosebumps Believe You! (Reply to this comment)

Gael~
I am sue it was you Granny, bless her heart! My own deceased mother-in-law use to visit my daughter's room right after she died. Both my puppy and my 9 year old Meghan knew it too. The afterlife is a strange and fascinating world. This was a chilling tale, but I am glad you told it!
My best,
Deb~
