Once the best, now fading--Slow order processing.

I have ordered stuff from newegg.com for several years now, spending thousands of dollars at their store.
Often it is hard to find anyone that beats their prices. They also have a large selection of products and a decent, easy to use website.
I do have one growing issue with them though. In the past, order processing and shipping had been very fast. That is no longer the case. It seems to be gradually worsening. Nowadays, unless you pay the rush order processing fee and get the order in early, it is unlikely that the product will ship within 2 days. Just this past week, I placed an order shortly after noon on Wed., chose overnight shipping, but failed to check the rush-order processing. It is 48 hours later, and the order is stuck at "Step 3". I'll be lucky to get it Monday. That is completely unacceptable.
Maybe they've outgrown their staff size or facilities. Good for them, I guess, if that is the case. If they don't do something soon though, I would be surprised if their business keeps growing.
They do clearly state that it may take 48 hours for order processing, so they have covered their you-know-whats, but I, for one, will be going elsewhere for a while now. Maybe in a few months I will be willing to try them again if I have the time to wait for delivery.
Please, newegg, hire or build--whatever needs to be done.
UPDATE: Order status finally changed, product awaiting pickup from shipper, late Monday morning. It took them nearly 5 days (which includes a weekend) to pack 3 in-stock items for next-day delivery...
