Have a delivery problem/return, you'll regret buying it from Dick's Sporting Goods

We ordered an Epic 800 MX Treadmill online from Dick's Sporting Goods web site.
First, the delivery company Dick's uses was not the greatest. On the week of delivery they give me a day they would deliver with a time of between 10am & 2pm. On the day of delivery they called me at 7:30am to tell me they would be at my house in a half hour and if I wasn't at home they wouldn't be able to deliver the treadmill for an other week. I rushed home from work. As they unloaded the treadmill I could see that Epic doesn't package its treadmills very well. I could also see that the delivery company was also likely at fault for the condition of the package as they slammed it on the ground. The box was falling apart and had a big hold in the side. As I tried to stop the delivery one of the men told me to get out of his way. Once it got to my front door I was finally given the opportunity to reject the delivery.
I tried emailing Dick's concerning my problem but was told that I had to phone them.
On my first call to Dick's I was told there were two options. Have another treadmill sent out right away or wait for my credit card to be credited once they received the damaged treadmill back. I decided to call them back after I spoke with my wife.
I called Dick's back the second time informing them that we would like to try another delivery. I was told by this person that there were no notes in their system concerning my first call and now the two options that I was informed about would only be available once they receive the treadmill back. I was also told that since I was calling late in the evening there was no one there who could further assist me and to call back tomorrow.
On the third call to Dick's I again had to explained the situation to another customer service person. I was now being told that I should have never rejected the delivery because the package could be lost on return. My response was that I was following the directions on Dick's Sporting Goods web site. Their customer service person then told me that they could not send out another treadmill and that I would have to reorder on their web site. I was also told at that time that that my credit card would receive a credit within 48 hours.
So here I am today with $946 still charged on my credit card and no treadmill. Dicks is now telling me I have to wait another 7-10 business days for my credit.
I hope this review might prevent someone else from going through this by avoiding Dick's Sporting Goods Web Site. I'm also going to inform the Better Business Bureau of my experience. I would have been a fairly satisfied customer if Dicks would have shipped out another treadmill promptly. It seems like they just don't care about the customer.
