Pros: Awesome styling, great gas mileage, our service has been absolutely fine, reliable, fun to drive.
Cons: It will only get better with age.
The Bottom Line: It is a fun ride that will just get better with age.

I have read several of the reviews on the Mini Cooper and although the car is not perfect, it is far above most American cars that lack the BMW technology and engineering.
We purchased a mini for my son and it has been mostly great. It has character,style,handling and the awesome BMW engineering. My husband has a BMW 330i and I have a Mercedes ML (which has seen many many issues!!!) and out of them all the BMW's win hands down. The Mini, having been fortunate enough to inherit the BMW
engineering may still be working out a few glitches, but is a great car for the price. Ours has lived through a terrible wreck (which my son walked away from)with a very large half ton pick up truck that was totaled!! The Mini suffered only a bent hood and wheel panel. Since being repaired almost a year ago, we have had no issues....amazingly! What American engineering can live up to that. We still have a long way to go to catch up to BMW's quality. There is just nothing that can touch it in America right now...(shame on us). Mercedes is now running behind BMW in most categories as well.
