High Traffic Foam - not worth it!

Written: Aug 03 '07
Pros:It would be a nice product, if it worked.
Cons:Pricey, and definitely does not clean as it says it will.
The Bottom Line: Avoid buying it, until the company can improve it enough to compare with their other products.

I have always liked Resolve carpet cleaner, thought it was the best around, so I decided to try the High Traffic Foam on some muddy tracks the dogs had left on the carpet a few days ago. The product label says "removes toughest ground-in dirt".. Well, I wouldn't consider this 'ground-in' but it had been there a couple of days, so maybe that qualifies. The upshot is that the product did absolutely nothing I could see. It made no change whatsoever in the spots, either on the dirty footprints or on other stains I tried it on. My carpet is a multi-tone brown that's made for high traffic, and it isn't hard to clean. I also have an excellent Rainbow vacuum cleaner. I just thought it would be easy to spray this on and vacuum it up when it dried, as the label says to do, rather than get down on my hands and knees to do it. Not only did that not work, it also didn't work very well if I tried to scrub the spots up. It was a complete waste of time and money and a terrible disappointment coming from a brand that I trusted to do a good job.
