I signed up for Cingular since it offers nice phones (I have a Nokia 8890), and has good calling plans (free mobile to mobile, unlimited off peak and long distance). In the last few months or so, however, it seems like they've sold too many accounts since during off peak times, the network is always busy. Either I can't make new calls, or I get cut off due to network traffic. Also, it seems like the coverage and reception has really gotten worse lately, and I am rarely able to make calls without getting dropped at least once. Don't sign up for Cingular unless you must have one of the phones they sell or need unlimited mobile to mobile and can live with sporadic coverage.
