I rented this movie since there wasn't much else to choose from at the video store. I read the back and thought, this sounds sweet and if my husband doesn't want to watch it, I'll watch it tomorrow during the day. Well, we both watched it and were so moved at the strength of how well it was written, the actors ability to be so real and follow thru with an accurate portrayal of the personification of who they were, and how two different worlds are able to come together and learn a lesson on life. This is a great movie that teaches a lesson that a person should not be judged by society's standards but by how they live their life. It reflects the accuracy of how so many of us tend to judge people by material possessions and how wrong that is... we need to look at the heart and at how this father does everything in his power to keep a promise and to take care of his precious daughters at whatever the cost. A wonderful family film that every teen should watch to learn a lesson on understanding the value of a person by their actions and not by their material possessions.
