I purchased the Swiffer Sweep Vac after moving into my new home. I loved it for the first few months. Then, I noticed it was missing small stuff. I figured this was just human error and didn't worry about it. After about 6 months I noticed that the battery no longer lasted for my whole kitchen floor and still noticing things being left behind that should've been sucked up. I finally quit using it quite as often, and when I would use it it wouldn't even last 5 minutes! I finally emailed the company and told them what was happening and their excuse was that the Sweep Vac wasn't intended for doing whole floors, they were only meant to pick up what your broom leaves behind. They told me that I should first thoroughly sweep the floor and use a dust pan and then use the Sweep Vac for those tiny few specs of dirt that the B & DP left behind! I paid $20+ for this & I'm only supposed to use it for a little bit of dirt that I can get w/ the B & DP if I try hard enough! I think these are a complete rip off! I would not recommend to anyone. Also, I'm not the only one, I heard several ppl w/ this same complaint.
