hey out there,
i am a guy who has been obsessed with panties since i was a kid. began wearin' them secretly when i was about 8 or 9. a few years ago i moved out of home and finally had the freedom to wear em all the time.
today i have a collection of all styles of panties, but the largest (more than 100 n counting),the most daring, sexxxxiest of which are thongs. i cant imagine why someone (sepeciall a girl) would even think of wearing any other style.
for me, the feel of them against my skin, as i awake, and especially as i go about my day is irrestible.
so for me it is never being able to tolerate them...rather it is a question of if i can ever do without them...
i looove em under a gym tights or really soft pair of pants. that way the invisible panty line becomes oh sooo visible. you should see the kick i get out of every one who gawks at me. at times i shretch over to ensure the obvious, them flash a devilish smile. at other times its a matter of allowing the side strap to show over the top of my jeans, especially if i am bareback.
but most of all, nothing beats my weekend wash. i slip into a barely there boyshorts with a wicked thong below, do my washing outside in full view of my 7 different expectant neighbors, then hang em all out. you should see the reviews i get. at times i swear there are so many heads gawking at me, its unbelievable!!!

Often people come at things with stuff they know that just ain't true. Notice some of the other comments stating for a fact that thongs cant be comfortable....
You were daring enough to try something new, and stuck at it till you had them figured out. The advice to size up is sound. There is less surface and thinner straps so if the thong is a little tight it puts even more pressure on in pounds per square inch.
You can get away with wearing a size to small in normal underpants but not in thongs. The size AND cut must fit. Although there is a lot of cheep junk in the market there are, thank goodness, a lot of well made stuff that is very comfortable.

like I am already turning into a Grandma!!! I have not worn a thong in like a year. I got some comfy undies at Victoria's Secret and have not worn a thong since. I am not out of shape or anything...it is just hard to go back once ya get used to those cotton comfy undies.
Guess I should live a little, huh.

I enjoyed reading your review. I actually have worn a thong--twice! With a 46DD-28-40 figure, it took quite a bit of courage (and persuasion from my husband) to do it, too! I didn't wear it anywhere locally out of fear that someone from my church would see me. The first occasion was a trip to the Bahamas. The second was a trip to Florida. I actually felt deliciously naughty parading up and down the beach wearing it. It also gave me an excuse to have Brazilian wax done, too!

I assume you're talking about the thong...and NOT the area the thong covers.
It's as easy as pie! You can wash them in a machine along with the rest of one's panties, prefereably in a mesh bag. Or you can wash them by hand. As there isn't much material, it doesn't take long to wash, rinse and air dry them.

Part of the mysterious magic of the thong is...if it makes you feel sexy, then you ARE sexy. Hubby can almost always tell when I have one on, just because of the way I carry myself. It's wierd. So if you like wearing them...carry on, brother.

This was a very interesting informative and entertaining review. I agree with Gary in that sometimes panty lines are sexy if the butt is nice. But also seeing the top of a thong sticking up in the back is also very interesting and exciting as well.
Within the last couple of years they have come out with thong underwear for guys as well. I tried a few of these and I have to agree it takes about a week to get use to the whole butt crack tightness thing. I don't wear them anymore as I don't think anyone would like to know a heavy guy like me was wearing one.

A little bra strap hanging out isn't socially unacceptable as far as I know.
Is the idea to pretend like we don't wear underwear?
It's in style for guys to wear pants so low that their boxers show out on top, but chicks gotta hide theirs? What a double standard!
It gets even more complicated when you consider the thong clip, a little decoration so that the straps hanging out above your way-too-low-waist pants eggs on viewers.
Great study of the evolution of the thong.

.....caters to many Europeans, I had a good share of observing this new phenomenon. I must say that of the many gals I checked out, 98.378% looked good. The others destroyed any fine fantasies I may have had.
Now that I have returned home I am going through thong withdrawal. It hurts. Are there any NY fashions that may substitute?

Thongs are fine and all, but I do find a small panty line on a nice butt very sexy. Same with a bra strap sneaking out a the shoulder. It has a tendency to stimulate more than my imagination.

besides this being well written and INTERESTING (i am only 20 and still completely fascinated and intrigued by females, as you can imagine) it was also sexy and very fun to read.
as a guy i can say thongs are an incredibly wonderful innovation and certainly do a lot to a woman's backside. hehe, i usually don't look at a butt for more than 2 seconds if i notice panty lines these days.
