Superb Customer Service -- Timely Delivery

95% of my purchases are done online -- via eBay or online merchants. While looking for a fountain, I happened upon Ballards website and found their selection to be very unique, and tasteful. I was surprised to find that their prices, overall, were lower than any other merchant offering the same products. They appear to offer more upscale products than most online merchants.
My experience with Ballards (online and phone) was absolutely top notch. I found coupons online and applied them toward my first order, and then upon checkout, was told I could get another 10% off if I applied for their credit card. I applied but didn't get the extra 10% so I called their 800 number. I spoke with 2 different customer service reps and they were just as friendly and helpful as could be. They re-did the order and the discounts reflected perfectly and I was able to look it up online immediately to show that the charges/discounts were what I expected.
I am a VERY picky person in dealing with customer service, very hard to please, but I was impressed with the professional, personal, and friendly customer service I got dealing with Ballards customer service reps.
Just wish all online companies were so customer oriented!
A final note -- I had ordered 2 fountains which were packed very professionally, and although the boxes were banged up from UPS -- the fountains arrived in pristine condition. I was also impressed that the quality of the fountains surpassed my expectations (something that is VERY rare with me) and that the materials the fountains are composed of were much nicer than those I've gotten from other merchants.
I give Ballards 5 stars!
