Pros: Reebok makes a quality jersey that could hold up well.
Cons: I wouldn't want to be seen in these colors or this player!
The Bottom Line: I'd avoid it like the plague! There just isn't anything that redeems it in my eyes...

| ltrain's Full Review: Gridiron Classics New Orleans Saints Aaron Brooks ... |
Over the years I've owned and worn hundreds of jerseys. Some I'd wear again, some were a trend of the moment. I've worn orange Broncos jerseys, Dolphins alternate jerseys, and even XFL jerseys but I've never...and I mean NEVER worn a jersey as ugly as this one! I mean, they call it a throwback but it's more of a throw out in my back. It's bound to be the very worst jersey ever made.
What is the only thing that could make a jersey this bad even worse? The fact that it features a rotten player is like the rotted cherry on top of the bull chip flavored sunday.
Why do I mention bull chips?
Because this jersey is the same color as one. The dull brown body brings out all that's wrong with both the Saints and Cleveland Browns by managing to turn bland into offensive...it's not just dull, it's an eyesore.
Add in a pinch of tarnished brass and you've got the color scheme. I'm certain some designer thought he'd ordered gold for the stripes and was as shocked when he saw the brass as I was when I took this out of the package it was mailed in.
But if you have a taste for it...
If you are a die hard Saints fan (and you'd have to be to want this) you may just see your way past the color scheme. You may just even ignore the fact that the easily purchased 'current' jersey looks MUCH better and decide to grab one of these "throwbacks".
Given all that you may just be able to disregard current stars Reggie Bush, Drew Brees, and Deuce McCallister in favor of an older star. The problem is, the only person who thinks Aaron Brooks was ever a star is his mother. Even Archie Manning was a better quarterback than this cousin of the Vick brothers (Mike & Marcus)! Aaron was a dismal failure in New Orleans that I'd suspect most Saints fans would rather forget about. Even Ricky Williams was more popular in the Big Easy at the time...and now.
Well made?
With all that out of the way I suppose we can detour over to talk about the jerseys quality of manufacture. Gridiron Classics is made by Reebok just like the NFL Equipment line. This means you are getting a jersey from the number one manufacturer of football jerseys in the world.
You'll get a body that won't shrink, dazzle yoke (aka shiny shoulders), and a jersey that looks 100% accurate compared to the one worn on field back then.
Because it's a replica the name and numbers are silk screened onto the jersey. Essentially, they are a heavy iron on transfer that will crack and peel if you run the jersey through the clothes dryer after you wash it. I normally recommend you air dry these for longer life but in this case I recommend drying it on really hot so you'll be done with it sooner!
Another thing I don't like:
I don't mind throwback jerseys that feature the name and number of a player who wore the jersey. If an orange Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey has Steve Young's name/number I'm OK with that...but not one with Cadillac Williams. Same here, Aaron Brooks never wore this jersey style so it doesn't suit my taste for that reason as well as all the others.
Overall:
Every year thousands of jerseys are offered by Reebok and nearly all of them are better choices than this. Keep shopping and you'll easily find something you like better.
Find something better!
Have a look at these jerseys for a better purchase:
