Great to have a Down Under view featured here--especially, yours!
Will be buying your book as soon as I'm home enough to receive it at my house, since it's all UPS and no post office option.
It looks really interesting!
I might not agree with all of your ideas, but there were plenty there that I did, and you discussed everything in a very intelligent and enlightening way, yet keeping it simple and man-on-the-street.
Furthermore, I could almost hear your wonderful accent in my head while reading this!

I may have joined this write-off too. I can always respect any opinion and argue in a reasonable tone... whether they agree or disagree with me. Unfortunately the discourse in our country(USA) usually ends up in a loud screaming match with the loudest claiming victory.
I have not read any of the other entries but I would assume as you read the comments, you must wonder just what type of country we Americans live in. Peter, I apologize for us all.
I can understand politicizing trivial matters as a way to gain political advantage, but when it comes to the important matters(Security, economy, health) you would expect little debate should be necessary since we all should have the same goals and ambitions.
