Someone on the site who shares the same views as me. Whoa!

We're out here, there's a few of us, we just need to keep fighting the good fight!

I believe that God inspired them to write those things down.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Well met!

Tough questions, interesting read. Not sure if I would have answered these questions so easily.

Thanks for the comment, I can honestly say I answered them easily. I thought long and hard about a couple of them, but I'm pretty clear about how I feel about these things.

I wish I could see or understand what many of you see in Bush, but then I don't understand nuclear physics, so I suppose it could be my failing.

I would say the same thing of Kerry - I don't see what people see in him (I'm not saying you support him, just in general). It really comes down to someone who at least is "close" to the same way of thinking and beliefs that you have. That's a hard thing because there aren't going to be many politicians who will align perfectly with your beliefs.

Thank you for so honestly putting it all out there - I bet you are a guy who walks your talk.

Thanks, that means a lot. I try.

What principles does George W. Bush have?

How about saying what he means and meaning what he says? How about believing in his country and the freedom of those around us?

Just a couple.

You and I sure do disagree on few key issues, but it was still fun reading your entry to this pretty important write-off.

That's the great thing about this w/o, we all have different ideas and opinions but in the end we're all still on the same team.

The reason I called Farenheit 9/11 a blip is that it's already faded out of focus and people don't really talk about it much now. It whipped the left up into a frenzy but had little effect on the swing voters and the right. It accomplished little, in my mind. Lies and distortions will do that.

Thanks for the comment, sorry for the delay in response.

PS:

You wrote...

Should foreign born American citizens be allowed to run for President? NO....

I agree with you that Foreign Born citizens should not be able to run. I think that if the Constitution is ever changed to allow this, it would be the downfall. Our founding fathers knew what would happen. Sure, they were all Foreign born, but they knew that after the country got started, that it was a saftey to include that "clause" in the documents of our country. It keeps us from having our nation turned upside down and our laws/views radically changed (you think it's bad now...) I believe that God inspired them to write those things down.

I'm starting to have Libertarian leanings. But it’s hard to defend their beliefs without looking crazy.

Like what? I'd be glad to help you sort it out.

the poll takers are polling. I am always fascinated by why people vote for others.

I was surprised when you made reference to you and Bush having the same beliefs, I always watch to see if leaders walk their talk or sound bites and I just don't see George walking his talk, or leading from the front.

I wish I could see or understand what many of you see in Bush, but then I don't understand nuclear physics, so I suppose it could be my failing.

Thank you for so honestly putting it all out there - I bet you are a guy who walks your talk.

Thanks for the read! I refrained from commenting on any of the entries I've read, deciding to write my own as a way to voice my disagreement with others, avoiding unnecessary arguing and flaming.

Seems to work that way. Thanks for the comment!

I actually didn't sit in disbelief while reading this one!! That being said, I've noticed many people only commenting on the "pieces" they agree with. Guess I'm guilty of that, too. Nice job...:)

Thanks for the comment, glad you liked it. In re: question 8, I meant that Republicans helping out Nader is akin to other shady tactics used by Democrats. It happens, even though it doesn't have place in our politics, it's there.

Thanks again for the read!

Of all the entries I've read thus far, your answer to number 1 was the best. However, your answer to number 8 confused me just a tad bit.

Very enjoyable read!
