I know just what you mean about feeling like you missed out on a lot of the good stuff. Seeing Radiohead and Muse were just about the only times I've felt that I've seen bands at their prime, but I still would have liked to see Radiohead during The Bends era.
I heard the new Wilco album in a music store the other day. It sounds amazing. Sort of a Jefferson Airplane feel on some of the tracks. I'll have to check it out.
