As of Oct. 20, 2007, I am revising my original comments on VTG because the Director of Customer Service, "Vacations to Go," picked up my critique and called to ask what can they do to solve this issue.
We had used "Vacations to Go" four times in the past 2
years: the marks were: three vacations rated an "A," one vacation an "F". This was originally written on Sep. 28, 2007. They had originally provided the wrong insurance information when we booked the trip, which led to a problem when we had to cancel due to health reasons. In addition, the refund amount according to the carrier's booking terms was not adhered to. Finally, we had some hassle to clear up.
I am pleased to say that after some time, Sep. 28 to Oct 20th, that VTG did work out the refund that I was due and credited this on our Visa card. In addition, the travel counselors were to provide more careful insurance guidance at the time of booking.
Thus, I am changing my ratings for the VTG to the three vacations received an "A" and the fourth one now receives a "B", even tho we could not actually go on the trip.
