The comfort disparity between a person who is 5'8 ~ 6'0 180 lbs and a person who is 6'5 in the new Accord is tremendous. The car felt like a gokart for me.

Again outstanding review/article. You could write for Consumer Reports. This is subjective but, I disagree with the styling especially the four door. I for one don't like the pseudo BMW style with those inverted rear quarter fixed vent windows. And, the grill is horrid with that over kill on the chrome. The car comes off as a little too ghetto looking. The rear tail lights do nothing for me. My dad bought a 2007 Accord V6 value package; silver/gray. Normally, I'd be non too happy that my dad bought an end of model run car but one look at the 2008 sedan and I think dad made the right choice. The 2008 coupe however is growing on me. But, I hope as this generation evolves, Honda tones down the chrome overkill on the grill work.

The Accord has one of the largest interiors in its class. Are you sure you got into a 2008 model?

Actually, I was suprised at haw SMALL this car was inside.
Many of the interior components looked so cheap and poorly designed that I would perfer the American counterpart's.

The Fusion and Altima are both smaller than the new Accord. I think you'd be surprised with how big the new model is. Thanks for the kind words and for stopping by!

Always enjoy your reviews (Reply to this comment)

The Accord does not strike me as a family sedan. It feels more to me like a sports car targeted towards young (college age) buyers who would otherwise go for a Nissan Sentra, Dodge avenger, Ford Focus or Kia Rio. It feels like a car designed for people who want high technology but aren't quite ready to pay BMW 5 prices.
A true family sedan in my opinion is a Toyota Avalon, Chrysler 300, Nissan Maxima, ford Fusion, or Volkswagon Passat simly because they felt much more spacious, are made out of materials that seemed easier to maintain and didn't have an overly complicated feeling (like you pointed out with the buttons).
I would perfer a new Altima over this car hands down.
