The Perfect Bed for Us (Reply to this comment)
by east_texas
I have all sorts of the usual back issues; bulging, herniated DDD and other cervical and lumbar disc issues, etc, etc...
My typical night on our own expensive bed (which as stated earlier by rudixeno, was a 5-10 minute try out bed) is to awaken whenever I turn over or even move results in a very loud scream. While my husband has seemingly gotten used to the nightly screams I doubt his sleep is worth a darn.
I recently stayed 4 nights at a Residence Inn Marriott suite with my sisters. When I went to sleep the first night the next thing I knew it was daylight and I had slept 10 hours straight through. No screaming, in fact I woke up in the smae position I went to sleep in which was previously IMPOSSIBLE! I did not have back pain when I got up and over the next few days I realized (Duh)it was this magnificent bed that allowed me to sleep and to NOT wake up screaming in pain.
I highly recommend this bed. Five stars and then some. My husband can't wait to get the bed so maybe he too will be able to sleep through the night.
My thanks to "rudixeno" who gave me the true name of the bed that is said to be "Only made for Marriott"
There is a savings of over $1,000 to purchase from the manufacturer instead of through the "Buy It from Marriott" website.
Praise God I can sleep at Last!

There are only a few beds in the known universe (I've tried most of them) that work for my back. The 'pedics (tempur, ortha, postur, etc.) have all failed miserably. This bed was superb - maybe the best one I've ever found.
If you have a godawful back, it's worth spending a night at the Marriott just to see if it works for you.

Marriott BEd & Featherbed Insert (Reply to this comment)
by shipmates3
We have had the pleasure at staying at the Marriott World Center (Orlando) on more than 1 occassion and have fallin in love with their beds. Now, this poor back tells me time to buy a new mattress.
I was pretty much prepared to go with the (Marriott) Jameson, but you Rudi now have me wanting to look at the Simmons Heavenly Bed.
One little added point on the Marriott bed. In addition the the mattress, Marriott includes the featherbed w/duvet. This is pure luxury for sleep, but are additional options to buying just mattress & box spring (& can add up on the purchase).
Enjoyed your review...fun read.

Thanks Suzi. Yeah, hotel bed programs are now the rage. It makes sense too. I hate reading how someone paid $4,000+ for a bed without having ever slept on it and then go on to review it calling it a "torture chamber". Baffles me.
These programs really work for the consumer.

9" foam- that's amazing. Thanks for sharing this. Maybe everyone was aware, but I didn't realize you could purchase beds that the hotels offer.
