Good price, nice selection and quality customer service

I recently bought a HP 5180 all in one printer from Compuvest. The printer is great and I will write another review about the printer, but I would like to talk about Compuvest. They had a fantastic price on a refurbished model of the printer I was looking for. I found the website by accident while I was looking for a good price on this model of printer.
Compuvest.com is a vendor that sale various electronic good from Batteries to Telephones. There website was easy to navigate and find information and products. It had help options of Live Chat or a toll free number to speak to a live person. You could either order your item live or on line. I chose to order on line since it was the middle of the night on a Saturday. It was an easy and painless process. The company accepts a variety of payment methods including, VISA, MasterCard, PayPay, C.O.D. Western Union, Google Checkout, Discover Card and American Express. I used PayPal and received an automated response back within minutes of completing the transaction. The printer arrived 3 business days later on Wednesday via UPS.
The printer was packed in its original box with all the accessories except the ink cartridges. I knew that they would no be included because the product description clearly stated that fact. I set up the printer next to my IMac and got ready to load the software. The printer came with both Window and Mac versions of the software. I had some initial problems with getting the printer to print correctly.
I called HP and asked them a number of questions and they finally said that I sounded like the printer was faulty and it needed to be sent back for repair. I then called Compuvest who gave me their customer help e-mail address and suggested that I get in touch with them. This is where things got interesting. I do not usually like to conduct help sessions via live chat on the internet but this was a great experience.
I was helped by two very nice individuals at Compuvest. I started with Russell and then Megan later assisted. They asked me questions trying to assess the problem and made suggestions on ways to resolve the issues. The printer was not making clear pictures. They were coming out dark and grainy. We looked at ink cartridges, type of photo paper being used connections to the computer and programs trying to access the printer. We ran internal printing tests, calibration tests, alignment tests etc. They finally offered to give me a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) to return the item and have it repaired. These people were very helpful, kind and understanding. They gave wonderful customer service. They type of service that you would like to expect from a quality company but seldom get. I was just about to send the printer back on the next Monday and thought about going to the HP website again and downloading the most recent driver for the printer. That fixed the problems right a away. I did not need to send the printer back.
I can highly recommend this company not only because of the quality of their products but also because of the excellent customer service that I received.
