| phatmouty's Full Review: Motorola KRZR K1 Limited Edition Champagne Gold |
Granted, this is not for the champagne gold, limited edition KRZR K1, but it is the Blue model that Cingular puts out. It is a very slick phone and has a LOT o features that are great. The weight of the phone is very nice and light compared to other phones. the 2MP digital camera is awesome.
Now the problem I ran into was pretty substantial. I had this phone for not even a month and the main LCD screen on the inside of the phone turned white with a thin red line down the middle. After playing around and doing some troubleshooting, I went to the web to do some research. Found that there is a commonly-known problem with the KRZR K1's for having bad "Flex Cables".. Basically a flex cable is the tiny little ribbon cable that connects the main LCD to the mainboard of the cell phone. I was very fortunate to still be within the 30-day satistaction gaurentee period so I simply went and had it replaced. Hopefully I have better luck with this one.
Remember, it's the BLUE MOTO KRZR K1 that Cingular puts out.
