I had a very good experience with square trade and am glad that I purchased a warranty. I purchased a Samsung 353 camcorder on ebay and purchased the warranty. Unfortunately the camcorder stopped working after a few months. It would not power on. I contacted square trade and quickly spoke to a rep who offered a few suggestions to confirm the problem wasn't minor. They wanted me to take it to a store that sales camcorders and see if they could plug it in and get it to power up because they stated sometimes it is simply a problem with the power cord or battery. I did that and determined it wasn't the power cord or battery and contacted square trade again. They cordially accepted my representation that it wasn't a power problem and immediately processed my return label. The immediately notified me when my package was received and quickly checked it and determined that I would receive a refund which was also done quickly. It was a wonderful, stress free transaction. The communication was great and the reps were knowledgeable and friendly. I am glad I used them and will for all my electronic purchases in the future. I recommend that everyone get this warranty, particularly on electronic items.
