I bought a Sceptre x37 Naga lcd tv off of ebay. The tvs video processing chipsets started to brake down after about 6-7 months. The different HD modes started to produce multi-colored noise and noticeable but tiny dots. I called square trade, and talked to the rep. He was very helpful and considerate as to listen to what i had to say. He was very polite and asked questions to try and help me troubleshoot, seemed as tho he was pretty knowledgeable about electronics and different factors that could damage or cause them to malfunction. He never gave me any trouble about the malfunction, and was quick to set up the resolve. About the next day i missed the second phone call, I also got an email with instructions of what was going to have to happen. I called them back anyway, even tho i read and understood the email. Luckily i received the same gentleman as before, he was again helpful in answering any questions i had. S.T. shipped a prepaid box ,via UPS, for the tv to my house. Like the email said, i received the box within two business days. When box came in, i had to do barely anything to make sure the tv fit in it (37 inch panel). The packing material was a little stiff, and to cut it, very messy. There were also differnt kinds of packing material in the box, large foam plates, foam cylanders that were attached to one another ( like a chaine ), and some air packing ( plastic bags full of air LOL ). It was great to find the packing included in the box! :D When they received the tv at their returns facility, it went thru testing i guess, i really wasnt notified about them receiving it until they approved the claim to refund my money. Not a problem in my eyes but they should of at least said, "Hey we got yer tv and were gonna proceed now with the claim." *Shrugs* Oh well. When the claim was approved i recieved an email stating that my claim process was finished and i was being refunded the total amount to my preferred internet money handling group, Paypal. The refund was there the same day, and was available to use immediately. I bought a new tv and am waiting fer it to get here. But as fer Square Trade, HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!! They have the best ratio price fer the items amount paid that i have seen for any warrenty service. To me to only pay about $60 USD for a tv that cost $800 USD is excellent in my eyes. And to pay $13 USD for a $130 USD pc audio card is well worth the small fee. The card failed and they found me a replacement, even tho the card is no longer manufactered. Square Trade should be called Better Trade. The hassle-less help i received was well worth MORE than the warrenty prices i payed. THANK YOU SQUARE TRADE!!! Long time will i remain a customer. Im telling everyone i know about this group, you should too if you try them out. JF
