Not bad, but you can do better.

Pros: Good image quality.
Cons: Low framerate, can get better webcams for less money.
The Bottom Line: You won't be too disappointed with this webcam, unless you compare it with the top webcams on the market today, which are similarly priced, but exceed the Kodak's performance.

| jayp39's Full Review: Kodak DVC 323 |
I recently had the opportunity to test a multitude of webcams at my company, several of which I have already posted reviews for here.
In terms of picture quality, this was one of the better cameras, it was probably in the top 6.
Unfortunately, it's price prevents it from being a good deal. The Philips ToUCam Pro, Intel PC Pro, and Logitech QuickCam 3000 (in that order) are all better cameras (with at least equal image quality, and superior framerates), for the same price or cheaper than the Kodak.
I have no real complaints about this camera, but due to it's price relative to better performing, cheaper cameras, I cannot recommend it. This camera does not fit in the cheap end due to its price, and it does not fit into the high end due to its lower framerate.
My company purchased this camera when it was newer, so we paid $120 for it, the price has since gone down to $80-90, but that is still not competitive compared to the other cameras, especially the Philips ToUCam pro which is going for $70, and has the best image quality and highest framerate I've seen. Unfortunately, the Philips is hard to find right now.
