Both 39 and Zenni are good (Reply to this comment)
by dave172
I've bought from both. They both treated me well. Zenni is cheaper, but if you want to get replacement lenses for your existing frames you can get 'em at 39 but not at Zenni.
I got two pair from Zenni: a pair of single-vision reading glasses, and a pair of progressive computer glasses.
From 39 I got replacement progressive lenses for general purpose (esp. outdoor) use, for my existing pair of titanium Calvin Klein frames.
All 3 pair of glasses are great!
One hint: cultivate a relationship with your optometrist (don't switch optometrists with every eye exam). Then take your new cheap glasses in to his office for (probably free) adjustments.

Thanks! I appreciate your comments. I hope you'll have good luck with either of the online places.

Love it! (Reply to this comment)

You really did a great job with this. I particularly like how you compared two different sites. You were clear and thorough.
I'd give you an MH if I could.
Think I'll give this place a try. We've been paying through the nose at LensCrafters for years, and it's time to break that habit.
