The Bottom Line Analog does have little better sound but digital has more advantages and makes up for it.
First digital is so easy to use. You an get 1 song or 100 if you use download service. Main advantage is you can make own cds or tracks from digital. Sound is good. Some say Analog has more depth to it. I agree some what. Analog has a little better sound. Main draw back is you can only get albums not single songs at most places. Taking care of it is harder than digital. Digital can be copied so easy and you can make hundreds of copies so no worry if you ruin one. Most people will never notice any difference in the sound only the most discriminating people will. The higher quality sound systems will let you notice the difference but most people do not own them any way. Will you notice the difference depends on you and your sound system. Most will not. The main advantage is ease of use and making copies. Overall i would have to go with digital any day over analog. Much easier to copy and use. Easy to care for and convenient.
