It's too bad the author chose the low road (Reply to this comment)

The story lines as you describe them sound like they have a lot of potential not only for romance but also for comedy and satire.

Two short stories each longer than a Graham Greene Novel?? (Reply to this comment)
by aohcapablanca
Dear dev-n-diva,
You write:
"The first short story is "Stag Party" and goes from pages 1-194.
...
"The second short story is "Norse Truly: and goes from pages 195-353."
Short stories??? My copy of Graham Greene's most famous novel THE END OF THE AFFAIR is 192 pages. My Oxford World Classics edition of Rudyard Kipling's THE COMPLETE STALKY & CO. admittedly runs 325 pages. But in addition to notes and preface there are fully 19 short stories, true short stories. A typical Stalky episode takes up 15 pages.
How on earth, therefore, can Stag Party at 194 pages count as a short story? Even the briefer 158-page Norse Truly might pass as a novella, but short story? Is this, perhaps, not just a large print edition but a HUGE print edition?
Many, many thanks for warning me and others away from AIN'T MYTHBEHAVING. The title might lead some to think this is a work of satire or even gentle humor.
Cordially,
