Which is why it was such a bad vanity picture for her to get accolades. It was a terrible film. My parents, who are big salsa fans, were disgusted by how Hector Lavoe was portrayed and everything else.

I always thought her best role was as Karen Sisco in Out of Sight but after that, she never really showed a lot of the potential critics had been hoping for.
Looking back at all those films now. Out of Sight will remain probably the best thing she's ever done. I guess she is just simply a mediocre actress to begin with after all.

Ack, this sure doesn't sound appetizing! :o) It's ironic, you know, I first saw Jennifer Lopez as a wonderful actress in the biopic of Selena. Expected great things, but she somehow isn't delivering anymore.
