I bought a Wine of the Month Club gift membership for my husband's birthday.
The ordering was very easy but nowhere on their website says that a living, breathing person has to be at home to receive the package as they required a signature.
I tried leaving a message to the UPS delivery guy with my signature on the post-it (it worked before) but he didn't leave it at the door. After 3 attempts at delivery it was returned to sender.
I called Amazing Clubs asking for an explanation and I was lucky enough to get a person to answer the phone. They said that they required for a person to be at home to accept the delivery. I explained to the customer service rep that we work during the day and nobody is at home and no, I am not going to have bottles of wine delivered to my office. I asked for a cancellation and a refund.
Today I finally got my refund -after 1 month- MINUS the shipping portion (I'm guessing is the shipping portion) around $10.
I ended up buying an MP3 player for my husband's birthday, which I received with no problems.
I feel cheated as NOWHERE on their site says you have to be at home for the delivery. I don't feel I should have to pay $10 for an article I never received because of not enough information on their site or misrepresentation of their services.
