I am a picky, fickle consumer, but reflect.com has won my loyalty with its fantastic products and customer service. I usually hop from brand to brand when it comes to beauty products, using whatever's cheapest that doesn't turn my face into a desert or oil spill.
My first experience with reflect.com was a little over a year ago. They sent me a $10 gift certificate which I used to purchase a bottle of conditioner for $2.50. The questions that they asked to custom blend my conditioner were fun and easy, and overall I was very pleased with both the product and the packaging (cool pump bottle). Not only did my order come super fast, they threw in a free hand mirror. I was impressed.
I'm a college student on a limited budget, so reflect.com's prices are too high for me to buy their products on a regular basis, although I'd love to. However, I have found that they often offer specials and coupons making their products much more affordable. For instance, a few weeks ago, they were offering a free palm M100 with $100 purchase. I needed a palm pilot anyway, and I jumped at the chance for free reflect.com products (I had priced palm M100s anywhere from $99 to $139)
Not only did I get $100 worth of products plus a free palm pilot.. they sent me flowers! About a week after my order, I received a beautiful bouquet of orchids from reflect.com with a note thanking me for my business. They also threw in two free candles (which smell absolutely wonderful!) with my order and free shipping too.
I was overwhelmed by the attention to detail and customer service. I'm not most companies idea of a "high roller" and rarely, if ever, has a company thanked me using their service in such a kind and memorable way. I could understand sending flowers If I'd spent $1000, but $100? Not only are the products amazing (I love their spf 25 moisturizer the best!) but they seem to truly understand that customer satisfaction is important. I've gotten so used to being cheated, ignored and dissapointed by companies who treat their customers as expendable, it is refreshing and a little shocking to be treated so well by a company.
Although their prices are high, I believe their products are customer service are well worth the money.
So far I have purchased mascara (the waterproof kind is great!), body lotion, facial moisturizer, shampoo, conditioner and facial powder. I have been pleased with all of them. If you are not pleased with the product, they will re-formulate it and send you a replacement at no additional cost.
I would definitely recommend reflect.com to anyone who wants to pamper themselves a bit and deal with a company who truly knows how to treat its customers.
