Re: Soundtrack or lighting? (Reply to this comment)

solohans1,
I thought the score/soundtrack was what made this so similar to the Bourne trilogy. I even check to see if the composer was the same for both movies. That's a negative. Also, the use of the Night/Blue-Night/Gold lighting is present in both films. There are other comparisons as well, but I think these are the most subtle. Judging from your review, you couldn't quite put your finger on it. Hope this helps. BTW, I enjoyed 'Hitman' very much. Very entertaining.
Those are good points. The music in Bourne was minimal as the action was used to serve as the soundtrack. I'll have to see Hitman again to see if it has a similar take in that department. But I'm sure you are correct in your assessment of it. Thanks for the read.

Jack,
***I saw the new baby picture on your profile page and just wanted to congratulate the proud papa!
Thank you very much. He's a cutie though he is also quitethe handful at 10 lbs. Yikes! The boy just won't sleep at all during the night. I'm at the point where I think I need to give him some brandy.
***I have no desire to see this movie, but the movie poster is entirely another story. If you happen upon it, you'll know that both models have their back to the viewer, but pay closer attention to the female. It's the first time I've ever seen a silhouette of a camel toe from behind! It's strangely dirty and arousing. Just FYI...
And another trivia fact brought to you by the letters F, Y & I along the number 69. LOL

Marie,
***I pretty much felt the same about this one. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either.
It was what it was... a decent enough movie to guarantee that video game movies still have a shot of being great.

Sue,
***Even a newborn can't keep you from re-establishing a lead? This is horribly demoralizing. I need to discuss this abhorrent development with my inertia and see if I can reverse it.....;)
Your inertia says it's time for you to throw in the towel. :)
It would be most fitting if we ended this contest with a tie. But knowing me, I can't settle for a tie. Nobody will be able to collect the prize. Bleh!

Sleep-Deprived Wife,
***I'm glad that you got a chance to leave the house (!!!) and see a movie featuring "A Russian Prostitute" (according to our older offspring). Don't say I never supported your extra-curricular activities!
Great review! Here's my rubber stamp.
I'm just impressed I didn't fall asleep watching the movie. After all, it was nice and dark, the perfect setting for a quick nap. Maybe we can see a movie together before the year is up. I still need to beat Ms. Nocket as she is closing in on me.

Jan,
***Congratulations on fatherhood!! Hope he looks just as handsome as you!
Thank you very much. Here's hoping he looks better than I do. He doesn't need my ugly looks.
