This was my first experience with this merchant. I oversee the operations and procurement of IT for the University and we are looking for a new vendor to supply us with toner and supplies for the hundred or more laser printers, copiers, and fax machines. I placed an order online on November 12, 2007 in the total amount of $1458 for imaging drums for one of 4 large high volume color laserjet printers we operate. Two weeks later, I had to check the status of the order myself. Their online store still showed in stock, so I used the live chat to speak to them regarding the order and was informed that the items were back ordered with no ETA. They offered to cancel the order and apologized, sort of a "sorry" was what I got. If you can not trust a merchant to keep their inventory status online updated and can not trust that they will inform you when they have delays in shipment, how can I trust the site for anything else? When an item is back ordered, and in this case an entire order with all 4 items back ordered, a courtesy call or email would be nice.
