My experience with SkyAuctionSep 13 '04 Write an essay on this topic.The Bottom Line I paid $600 each including taxes and port charges for and outside cabin. This was about $200 cheaper than travelocity. I just got back from a cruise I won on skyAuction. I did have to contact the company to get my forms sent to me otherwise everything was as promised. I was even upgraded to a higher class at the last minute. I had no problems and would not hesitate to use them again. We took the 6 day cruise for Norfolk Virgina to Bermuda on Sept 5th on the Celebrity Horizon. The ship is one of their older ships but is still in great shape besides some of the reviews that I read on line. The food and the service was great. My only complaint could be that the average age of the guest was probably 55+. I am 36 and prefer and older more mellow crowd but it would have been nice to have more people my age to chat/party with. The Entertainment staff on the ship was great. Rich the cruise director did a fantastic job. This is not an easy job and his approach to it was balanced very well between all types of guests. The rest of the staff was mainly made up of Canadians. I have always until recently considered Canadians our(America's) friends. I had a few discussions on the matter and most on the ship did not seem to think that the Canadian's were anti-American but possibly anti-republican. Even though I am a republican I don't have a problem with people disagreeing with me. I don't believe the distinction between the two has ever been made clear. I will now step off my soap box.
