The only good thing about ATT wireless is that the actual netowrk is great. For most people, when they are looking for a moble phone company, this is most important. However, everything else about ATT wireless stinks!
First, over the past few years I have lost count of all the times they unjustly charged me for different things on my bill. When my monthly bill is acutally what it is supposed to be, I nearly go into shock. The most recent example of unfair charges was two months ago when they "accidently" charged me an extra $50 because they double charged me for my base plan. Although they do end up crediting back their many mistakes, the run around that ATT gives you when they call customer service is a joke! In fact, I would go as far as to say it is the worst of the worst. (You know what I mean... "Press 1 for this... Press 4 for this....5,6,7,2,4,5,8,9 for this.... and finally you'll get "Call volumes are unsually high, your estimated wait time is 45 minutes).
One of my biggest complaints is that their call center is closed all day sunday. I find this to be unacceptable for a company this gigantic and I hope they change this soon. If you can deal with all the hassles I just described, then go with ATT wireless. However, I would recomend that you shop around and read reviews of other cell phone companies before signing your soul into their two-year agreement.
