What can I say? I had high hopes for this movie because I really like Robin Williams. And while I cannot say I was disappointed...I can't say I would recommend it either. I didn't hate it...but I definitely didn't love it. It's one of those movies where you can take it or leave it.

Parts of it made me angry at the way the bride was portrayed (but that could be that I saw it just a month after getting married myself). There were some very funny parts...like the robot babies...but other than that, most of it was very predictable. I went with my husband...and we kept whispering back and forth what was going to happen next (we were right 100% of the time). They just happen to get married on the beach...and she just happens to have a beautiful dress...and all there problems just happen to get solved in an hour and a half.

It seems to be one of those where all the funny parts are in the previews. You see them, and you laugh...but the rest of the movie really drags.

It had a good message that I actually took away with me to apply to my own relationship (listen to your significant other and value their opinion)...so the hour and a half spent in the theater wasn't a complete waste. It was a good way to kill some time if nothing else.
