It appears West Elm has non-existant inventory control or quality control. I had the same issues with them. They over sold my table but their inventory showed there were 10 in stock! Customer service is a joke there and when the table arrived (12 weeks later) or dumped at my doorstep by UPS it was damaged. The table looks good but it is made hollow! There was a huge crack exposing the hollow interior! I went to the nearest store (50 miles away) and was able to return this crap.

reminded me of a sofa we ordered years ago on the internet and it was stuck in the back yard (not on our protected porch) and the box was practically falling off due to a downpour. Such a joke!

Don't ever order through Costco online too. It takes FOREVER!
