Well, I'm a drugstore.com addict, but noticed a blurb on a CVS receipt to visit CVS.com and receive $5.00 off a $30.00 order with free shipping. They had me at $5.00 off! A good place for basics. Not a huge inventory of items, but the site is easy to navigate. I'd prefer to receive my orders a little more quickly; CVS seems to take about a week. And, I have had some problems with my orders. Accurate, but not always packaged well. Detergent spills, crushed Kleenex, etc. The good news is that the Customer Service department is easy to reach and very accomodating. The minor shipment issues are offset by great Customer Service. I have never paid any shipping charges because they are constantly offering some sort of free shipping promotion AND dollars off. $5.00 off $30.00 with free shipping, $10.00 of $50.00 with free shipping. Nice deal. I'm a bit spoiled after shopping with DRUGSTORE.com, but the CVS inventory is very limited. No big deal, I just buy staples like bath tissue, papertowels, etc. Be sure to join the EXTRA CARE CARD program. Relatively painless, but your purchases will accumulate points quarterly for which you are rewarded with a coupon based on your spending. You'll also receive more offers.
